Week 8 – Tall Ships Voyage

As mentioned in my brief post last week, Tall Ships, I spent the week aboard Challenger 3 Sarah with the Tall Ships Youth Trust. It was a great week, meeting some very interesting people and helping others learn how everything works onboard. All in all a fantastic experience (if a little cold and wet!) that I will defiantly be taking part in again, but as a volunteer watch leader.

The Tall Ships Voyage

The voyage its self was incredibly mixed in terms of weather, some days no wind while almost too much others! It did make for a great opportunity to grab my camera and see what I could capture. The pictures that follow are a handful of my favourite from the week, a later post this week will focus on the Needles at sunset.

There are a couple more in my Flickr album, Tall Ships Voyage, and I am putting together a short video of some of the highlights that will be uploaded soon! Shot with a Canon 600D with Canon 24 – 105 mm. Please comment with thoughts, for more info or with photos of your own. Thanks!
